Sharpe Behavioral Consulting, LLC is the embodiment of Dr. Sharpe’s vision of incorporating psychological principles, communications skills, and cultural competency for the betterment of workers and the workplace.

My Background

Katherine A. Sharpe, Ph.D., ABPP is the CEO and principal consultant. She has over thirty years of service in the public and private sectors, with a breadth of experiences in management, administration, training and supervision and clinical services. Dr. Sharpe completed her undergraduate studies at Williams College and her master’s and doctorate degrees in psychology at The George Washington University.  Following a clinical internship at Howard University Hospital, Dr. Sharpe began her career as a psychologist in the United States Army. As a reservist in 2004, she deployed to Iraq as a member of a combat stress control unit.

Dr. Sharpe is board certified in clinical psychology by the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP) and served tenures as editor of the organization’s newsletter and member of the Board of Trustees.  While employed with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Dr. Sharpe provided specialized services to veterans who experienced sexual trauma during their military service.  She also served as director of psychology training at the VA’s medical center in Atlanta.
